Presentation Academy's Senior Independent Program, SIP for short, was started to fill a niche for senior students who wished to study something they were passionate about but did not have time to pursue outside of school, work, and extracurricular activities. Since its inception, SIP graduates have gained unimaginable skills through their chosen projects and the dedication and drive needed to see their goals met and their projects completed. Pres students involved in SIP have written, directed, and produced plays and films; written and published cookbooks, novels, guide guidebooks; planned and executed fund raisers and political rallies; conducted countless hours of research and interviews; and written and created vlogs and blogs among many other things. Students accepted into the Senior Independent Program are required to make connections outside of school and seek out mentors with special skills to guide them through the process of achieving their goals and creating a "finished product." Working for nearly two hours a day for the duration of the school year, SIP students are given the opportunity to present the fruits of their labor at the annual SIP Presentation Night held each spring.
